The School of Information and Library Science is hosting Digital Library Week Oct. 18-22.
The week will feature lunchtime discussion groups and culminate with a presentation by Michael Lesk, director of the National Science Foundation's Division of Information and Intelligent Systems.
Brown-bag lunch discussions will be Oct. 18-20 in 304 Manning Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Lesk's presentation on "Books, Bytes and Bucks: When Can We Privatize Digital Libraries?" will be Oct. 22 at 10:30 a.m. in Wilson Library's Assembly Room, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. reception.
