Frederic Pfaender, professor of environmental sciences and engineering, was significantly involved in the design and production of a television series describing the microbial world and how it affects life on Earth. The series, Intimate Strangers: Unseen Life on Earth, will be broadcast on Tuesday nights in November at 8 p.m. on PBS.
