This marks the first issue of the Gazette to include the work of
Gary Moss, new managing editor. Moss comes to the Gazette from the Fayetteville
(N.C.) Observer-Times, where he had been a reporter since 1987.
While there he won two N.C. Press Association awards. He has a bachelor's
degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
