Katrina Harris
Katrina Harris has been awarded the Department of Surgery Staff Excellence Award.
The award is based on excellence, commitment, teamwork, outstanding service and attendance.
Colleagues described Harris, who works in vascular surgery, as reliable, dedicated and a team player. She is known to go out of her way to make patients feel informed and comfortable as well as being friendly, courteous and helpful. One colleague described Harris as being "the glue that holds our team together."
She will receive a certificate, two days of paid vacation and $100.
