Representatives from N.C. government agencies, plant nurseries, botanical gardens and conservation groups will meet Feb. 26 at the North Carolina Botanical Garden to plan ways to fight plants invading the state.
Conference attendees will establish a North Carolina chapter of the Southeast Exotic Pest Plant Council, a chapter of an already functioning regional branch.
Conference seating is limited. People interested in attending may register on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the N.C. Botanical Garden at 2-0522. The garden will distribute information to people unable to register.
