Jeffery Beam, an assistant in the biology library, has been leading poetry workshops in the area and is bringing his program to the Bull's Head Bookshop on March 2 at 3:30 p.m.
Beam, who headed a poetry workshop at the Duke Museum of Art in January, will discuss his animal impressions from Elizabethan times. His interpretations derive from his ninth book of poetry, An Elizabethan Bestiary: Retold.
