In celebration of Women's Week (March 22-26), the Carolina Women's Center and the Women's Issues Network will present awards to recognize women who have demonstrated leadership and contributed to the promotion of a University that is safe, equitable and supportive for all women.
Award categories include faculty/staff. For Women's Week Faculty/Staff Women Awards, nominees must:
n Be women from the faculty or staff;
n Demonstrate leadership as activists for women's concerns; and
n Have contributed to the development of women's communities.
Submit nominations to Elizabeth Owens (Union 216F), Marsha Collins (01 Steele Building/CB# 5100) or the student union front desk by March 3.
Awards will be given March 23.
