The PlayMakers Repertory Company will feature six productions during the
1998-99 season starting in September.
The plays on this year's schedule are:
* The Tempest by William Shakespeare from Sept. 23 to Oct. 18;
* Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde by Moises Kaufman from
Oct. 28 to Nov. 22;
* A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (adapted by William Leach) from Dec. 2
to 20;
* The Show-Off by George Kelly from March 10 to April 4; and
* Violet, a Musical (based on The Ugliest Pilgrim by Doris Betts) from April
21 to May 16.
The season will feature either Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100
Years or The Life & Times of Ida B. Wells from Feb. 3 to 28.
Subscription packages are available and range in price from $60 to $120. The
packages do not include A Christmas Carol.
PlayMakers is a not-for-profit, resident, professional theater company now in
its 23rd season. All performances are at the Paul Green Theater.
