Eligible Employees who already have signed up for on-campus permits but who
want to switch to park-and-ride may do so by turning in their permits to
department parking coordinators this summer. Call public safety at 2-3951 if
you don't who your coordinator is.
Free parking and bus transit will be available from six park-and-ride lots:
Eubanks Road, Southern Village, Carrboro Plaza, N.C. 54 East, P and PH (Hedrick
Office Building). Consult a Chapel Hill Transit Guide for schedule and route
details.
To qualify for the free park-and-ride transit pass, commuters must live
outside a two-mile boundary from central campus and outside a quarter mile
boundary of Chapel Hill Transit bus routes.
