The Ackland Art Museum has organized workshops for small groups of adults in
conjunction with the summer exhibit "Identity Revealed." Each workshop will run
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
* "Gender and Identity" (July 27) will invite participants to reflect on how
attitudes and experiences are shaped by what our culture tells us about being
male or female, gay or straight.
* "Our Spiritual Selves" (Aug. 10) will use meditation, shared stories and
mandala making to help group members find spiritual meaning in art.
