Pulitzer winner Dillard to address Friends of Library


Annie Dillard, who won the Pulitzer Prize for general nonfiction for Pilgrim at Tinker Creek in 1975, will speak at the annual Friends of the Library meeting and dinner Oct. 10.

Dillard, author of 13 books and countless essays and poems, will be after-dinner speaker at the event in the Carolina Inn, which begins with a 6:30 p.m. reception.
