The physical education gym/pool privilege fees will increase Aug. 1. The new fees, which were announced earlier this year, will be $96 for the year, $50 after Jan. 1, 1998, and $25 after Spring Commencement 1998. Fees for children will be $24 a year, $20 after Jan. 1 and $15 after Spring Commencement.
Faculty and staff who currently use payroll deduction to pay their fees should have received a reauthorization form, to be completed and returned to the UNC OneCard Office by Friday. Those who need a form can pick one up at the OneCard office on the second floor of the Student Stores, the basket rooms in Fetzer or Woollen gyms, or the Student Recreation Center.
The authorization for payroll deduction is in effect until an employee cancels the deduction. Cancellation forms are available in the UNC OneCard office.
Those who have payroll deduction for a spouse/domestic partner or dependents should renew their cards beginning Aug. 1. Also, beginning Aug. 1, a late fee of $1 per day will be charged for equipment not returned the same day.
