Teachers can learn to use art as an aid in developing studentsŐ higher-order thinking skills with two workshop series sponsored by the Ackland Art Museum.
The first workshop series, designed for elementary school teachers, runs July 22-24, and the second series, geared for middle and high school teachers, runs July 29-31. Each daily session lasts from 9 a.m. to noon. Additional hours may be arranged to provide a complete continuing education unit credit.
