Local state legislators will be on campus at 3:30 p.m. April 2 in 211-212 Student Union for a discussion about expectations for the General Assembly's upcoming short session. Topics to be covered include salary increases, privatization concerns and expansion funding.
Featured speakers are Reps. Anne Barnes and Joe Hackney and Sens. Teena Little and Fred Hobbs. A question-and-answer session will follow the talk, sponsored by the American Association of University Professors and the State Employees Association of North Carolina, District 25.
