Volunteers needed for fair

The May 17 Employee Appreciation Fair needs your help.

To make the fair a success, some 175 volunteers are needed to help with tasks such as passing out lunch bags, helping vendors set up their booths, blowing up balloons, helping at the door-prize drawing booth, greeting people as they get off the buses and cleaning up afterward.

"Volunteers are crucial to the fair's success," said Candace Clark (development), volunteer chair for this year's fair. "The annual Employee Appreciation Fair is a way to say thank you to the faculty and staff of the University for their commitment and dedication.

"The fair is for each of us, but we could not have a successful fair without the hard work of faculty and staff volunteers. They are the ones who make this fair happen and we appreciate each and every one of them."

As a special thank-you, volunteers will receive fair T-shirts decorated with "volunteer" across the back.

To volunteer, complete the form below and return it to Candace Clark, CB# 6100, or send her the information via e-mail: dvcfc.dev@mhs.unc.edu.
