FORMS PROCESSING (SPA)

Course # PI1300 Section # 0001-96

Knowing how to use correctly the key forms that drive the SPA pay/personnel system is critical to every department's success. Correct use and completion of such forms also helps ensure the timely implementation of the policies that govern payment of these employees. Although the University makes strong efforts to publicize and explain these policies and the forms they affect, many requests have been and continue to be received for further detailed instruction in this regard.

This full-day workshop will examine several key University forms for SPA employees and use difficult, yet frequently seen case study examples to thoroughly familiarize managers, supervisors and Human Resources Facilitators with:

*The "Employee Time Record" (Timesheet)

*Position Management Forms/Recruitment Forms

*Holiday Pay/Holiday Premium Pay/Equal Time Off

*Call Back Pay/Guarantee

*Shift Premium Pay/Substitutions

Since this class is a part of the Office Skills Development curriculum, early registration is suggested.

Date: Wednesday, May 8 Time: 9 a.m.-Noon.

Class Limit: 25 Cost: None

Presenter: Human Resources Staff
