Weiss delivers Gordon lecture

Domestic violence's effect on education will be examined during the Ira J. Gordon Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Friday Center.

Lois Weiss, who specializes in the effects of class, race and gender in schools, currently is professor in the Department of Educational Organization, Administration and Policy at State University of New York at Buffalo and a consultant to the Education, Culture and Society Summer Institute at the University of London.

The Gordon lecture is presented by the School of Education and Phi Delta Kappa.
