Dr. Frank: The Life and Times of Frank Porter Graham last month won a Midsouth Regional Emmy Award for Best Documentary.
The documentary, which aired on UNC Television, was a joint project of the UNC-TV and the Arts and Sciences Foundation. Produced by alumni John Wilson and Martin Clark, Dr. Frank follows Graham's life: his early years, his education and his evolution from history professor to university president to political candidate.
