Feb. 19 is the application deadline for the University Research Council's small grant program.
Two types of grants are available for full-time faculty members and professional librarians:
*Research grants may be used for collecting pilot data, research-related travel, research equipment, supplies or costs of small-scale projects.
*Publication grants may be used for costs such as photographs, drawings, figures, tables or permissions to reprint.
Maximum awards are $3,000, and applicants may submit only one proposal per semester--either research or publication.
