Exploring issues in constructing a durable peace in Bosnia is the focus of a public forum from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 16 at the University Presbyterian Church Center, 110 Henderson St. "Bosnia: Securing the Peace" is sponsored by the Center for Slavic, Eurasian and East European Studies and the University Center for International Studies.
Speakers will address historical background of the conflict, victimization of civilians, international conflict resolution efforts, U.S. and NATO roles, military dimensions of peacekeeping, war crimes and the domestic political dimension of U.S. involvement.
