Has your or another department's Human Resource Facilitator made a difference to you in knowing about personnel policies, benefits and programs? Then nominate him or her for the first HR Facilitator of the Year Award. Deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. May 13.
Your nomination letter should tell how the person has made a difference to you or your department, said Margaret Plumb Balcom, chair of the selection committee for this new award.
"Be specific in your nomination because it will enable us to evaluate better the nominees," she said. "But, at the same time, don't worry about each word. If you know an HR Facilitator who deserves this honor, send us a nomination.
"Don't put if off until tomorrow! Do it now!" she urged.
The committee will be considering such areas as customer service, diplomacy, communication skills, teamwork and attitude, Balcom said.
