The School of Information and Library Science has received a $65,600 grant from the National Library of Medicine to develop new approaches for helping health sciences librarians and information professionals meet the challenges of information management.
The Health Sciences Library and Medical Informatics Training Program also are participating.
University planning team members are Barbara Moran, dean of Information and Library Science; school faculty members Barbara Wildemuth, Claudia Gollop and Helen Tibbo; Carol Jenkins, Health Sciences Library director; library faculty Peggy Morrison and Margaret Moore; and Charles Friedman, director of the Medical Informatics Training Program.
