Two courses to help employees understand the University's financial systems and policies will be held next month in 209 Manning Hall. No registration is required for these new three-day programs, but attendance will be taken so that the training can be recorded in the participant's file in Human Resources.
*Track I, May 13-15, 8:30 a.m.-noon--Provides an overview of the University's financial planning and budgeting, accounting, tax issues, contracts and grants, asset management, and FRS on-line information.
*Track II, May 20-22, 8:30 a.m.-noon--Covers the details of the procedures used to complete financial transactions and how to fill out the forms used in these transactions.
