The School of Social Work is holding a continuing education program, "Caregiving for a Loved One: How You Can Prepare," on Oct. 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the School of Social Work.
The presentation will be made by Jane Armstrong. She will provide information on preparing oneself upon becoming a caregiver, what resources to investigate and how to communicate to professionals and to the patient.
The workshop is open to anyone who provides care for a loved one. Cost for the workshop is $50 ($60 if postmarked/faxed after Oct. 4).
