The North Carolina Collection Gallery in Wilson Library is the home of "Over There" in the Great War: William B. Umstead and World War I, March 1-May 31. The exhibit traces former N.C. Gov. Umstead's wartime experiences at home and abroad through his extensive personal collection of military gear, photographs, letters, diaries and other artifacts.
Guided tours are available Wednesdays at 2 p.m. or by appointment. Admission and tours are free. Call 2-1172 for more information.
