Joyce Clayton
Director of the Upward Bound Program in the School of Education, Clayton was elected president of the Southeastern Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel, Inc. for 2001-03. It is a non-profit organization that brings together persons involved in educational opportunity programs in higher education.
Barbara Wasik
Professor of school psychology in the School of Education, Wasik was elected chair of the Board of Educational Affairs of the American Psychological Association (APA). The board oversees matters related to training and education for APA and the work of a number of committees and task forces addressing educational programs, accreditation, continuing education and the teaching of psychology.
