UNC HOMEPAGE
Morehead Planetarium is attempting to make space, the unfathomable frontier, fathomable in its April 28 class, Astronomy Is Over Everyone's Head. Scheduled from 2 to 3:30 p.m., the class will cover basic astronomy, such as the earth's distance from its moon, what causes eclipses, the distances to the planets and the sun's "stature" as a star. On the other hand, because the class is geared for adults, these subjects will be handled in more depth than comparable children's classes.
Cost is $15, or $10 for planetarium members. For more information, call 2-1236, email mhplanet@unc.edu or see http://www.morehead.unc.edu
