Mindfulness-based stress, pain management course begins April 12


The University Headache Clinic and the Program on Integrative Medicine is offering its Mindfulness-based Stress and Pain Management Program training in meditation, mind-body awareness exercises and other techniques. The eight-week program begins April 12 with weekly classes from 3 to 5 p.m. One Saturday class is also included, on May 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The focus of the program is to teach ways to slow down, set priorities and stay calm, focused and relaxed -- with the aim to enhance the body's adaptive and healing ability.
