Leuchtenburg discusses presidential race


William E. Leuchtenburg, William Rand Kenan Jr. professor of history emeritus, will present the third annual E.M. Adams Lecture in the Humanities and Human Values on Oct. 1 at 4 p.m. The topic will be "The American Presidency in the 20th Century."

The lecture is free and open to the public and will be held in the auditorium of the Tate-Turner-Kuralt Building. A dinner will follow the lecture at a cost of $40.
