The Department of Music is sponsoring the following concerts:
* "Fred and Gail Fearing Friday Afternoon Jazz Series featuring the UNC Jazz Combos." Sept. 15, 4 p.m., Hill Hall.
* "William S. Newman Artists Series - Chapel Hill Chamber Orchestra." Sept. 15, 8 p.m., Hill Hall Auditorium. Tickets $12 general public, $10 seniors and $5 students.
* "North Carolina Jazz Piano Summit." Sept. 17, 3 p.m., Hill Hall Auditorium. Tickets $8 general public, $4 students.
* "Spectrum Concert." Sept. 22, 8 p.m., Memorial Hall. Tickets $4 general public, $2 students.
* "Home From Europe Program." Sept. 24, 3 p.m., Outdoor Terrace, Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence. Rain location: Johnston Commons Room.
Concerts are free unless otherwise noted. Reserve parking available in Hill Hall parking lot. For more information, call the music department at 2-1039.
