National experts will gather in 111 Carroll, Oct. 28 to discuss the relationship between the mass media and politics.
Three panels will feature Doug Marlette, Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist; Dorothy "Dot" Ridings, president and CEO of the national Council on Foundations in Washington, D.C; and Fred Young, national vice president of news for Hearst-Argyle Television Inc.
Opening remarks will begin at 9 a.m. and the panels will run until 2:15 p.m. For more information call 2-1204.
