Gail Godwin to speak at annual library dinner

Novelist, short-story writer, journalist and Carolina graduate Gail Godwin will speak at the annual Friends of the Library dinner on Nov. 17 at the Carolina Inn's Hill Ballroom.

A 5:30 p.m. Friends annual meeting and 6 p.m. reception, also at the inn, will precede the 6:45 p.m. dinner. Tickets are $50 and $65 for the general public. To purchase, call Liza Terll at 2-1301.
