FRANK PORTER GRAHAM CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Marsha Stephens, Pat Wesley
Network administrator Stephens and Wesley, director of the Partnerships for Inclusion project, have received 2000 Gallagher Awards. The awards are presented annually to two Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center employees who demonstrate a commitment to the center and its mission, and performance beyond what is normally required.
Stephens was cited for "dedication" and being the "glue that holds everything together."
Wesley was cited for "ensuring staff development opportunities" giving her staff independence.
PATHOLOGY AND LABORATORY MEDICINE
Emily Kay Hammond
Division Secretary for Nephropatholgy, Hammond was awarded the Margaret O. Gulley Award for Secretarial Excellence in recognition of her outstanding secretarial contributions in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
ACC OB/GYN CLINIC
Jeannette Moore
Clinical nurse, Moore won the Staff Excellence Award in honor of her "limitless services to her patients, her helpful attitude, teamwork and working as a partner with physicians in providing care."
