"Pimps and Players Reign: Cinematic Origins and Implications for Popular Culture," a discussion and film presentation centered on race, class and gender, will be given Nov. 27 by Victor E. Blue, Carolina doctoral student in history and instructor at N.C. Central University.
The "Minority Images in Media" lecture and film series is sponsored by the Sonya Haynes Stone Black Cultural Center and the James M. Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence. It will be held in 39 Graham Memorial from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
