Greek houses set record for fire safety

A record 11 of 33 Carolina fraternity and sorority houses achieved perfect fire code inspections for the spring semester, with the rest averaging a record low three violations each.

The 11 perfect chapters are the fraternities Delta Epsilon, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Chi and Tau Epsilon Phi and the sororities Alpha Chi Omega, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Tau Alpha.
