UNC HOMEPAGE
The 12th annual University-wide Blood Drive is set for July 25 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Dean E. Smith Center.
Donations will support the Carolinas Blood Services Region, which serves 110 hospitals in 80 counties in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. To meet demand, the Red Cross must collect at least 1,500 units of blood each day.
Donors can make appointments by calling 96-BLOOD or by contacting a departmental recruiter. Walk-ins will be accepted but the process will be shorter for those who sign up beforehand.
Shuttle service will be available as well as free parking in unreserved spaces in the Manning and Bowles lots. Details about the drive can be found at http://www.sph.unc.edu/blood
