Alumnus Ken Felder has been rescheduled to speak on "Einstein, Bill Gates, and the Buddha" on Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. The location was not determined as the Gazette was posted.
A Microsoft researcher, Felder will address the intersection of business and daily life with the spiritual dimension in this first in a series of events sponsored by the Self Knowledge Symposium.
Tickets at the door are $8 students, $15 general public. Advance ticket discounts are available.
The symposium will sponsor the telecast "God at 2000" featuring seven internationally known speakers from various religious backgrounds, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
The telecast will air Feb. 11 and 12, noon to 8 p.m., in 8 Gardner Hall. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided.
In conjunction with the telecast, on Feb. 9, 10-11 p.m., on a live call-in show at 680 AM WPTF, Tom Kearney will be interviewing some of the event's hosts and talking about spiritual diversity in the Triangle.
