The Dec. 22 blood drive in the Woollen Gym, planned to make up for eastern North Carolina donations made impossible by Hurricane Floyd, netted 234 units -- 17 percent over the 200-unit goal. Fifty-three volunteers contributed.
The next campus blood drive is planned for Jan. 17 from 1 to 5:30 p.m. in the Carolina Inn.
