UNC HOMEPAGE
Dedicated blood donors at the University will have another chance to give the
gift of life this year. A University-wide blood drive will be held Dec. 21 from
7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Woollen Gym.
The University community is answering a call for help with this winter drive.
The holiday season is traditionally a time of low blood supply and high need.
Beginning immediately, donors can make appointments through the American Red
Cross by calling 96-BLOOD (2-5663). Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins
will also be accepted. Parking will be available for donors along Stadium
Drive.
To volunteer to help at the blood drive, please contact Bob_Schreiner@unc.edu
Donors and volunteers will be given a free T-shirt by the American Red Cross.
With a goal of 250 units, the drive will bring much relief at a crucial time.
Please make an appointment to donate today.
