Winter stories for children of all ages


The Friends of the Library present "Day Closes, Moon Rises" with Jeffery Beam and Terry Rollins on Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m. in Wilson Library. Free and open to the public, the Eighth Annual Winter Stories are for children of all ages. Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m.

Poet Jeffery Beam is the author of nine books of poems, including An Elizabethan Bestiary: Retold. He is an employee of the Academic Affairs library system.

Storyteller Terry Rollins works for Carolina's Chapin City and Regional Planning Library and has been telling stories professionally since 1991.
